Influenza, better known as the flu or a cold, an infectious disease caused by RNA viruses of the family Orthomyxoviridae (influenza virus). The virus is common in birds and mammals. Symptoms are the chills, sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, cough, hoarseness, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness and general discomfort. Make a habit of washing hands with soap, because it can cause flu virus release from the hands and fingers. Soaps and detergents we use are not able to kill the virus but may remove it from the hands and fingers.
